Delete your MyFoodShield Inspector account

You can delete your account at any time, from the app or by email. This page explains how, and what happens to your data. For more on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
1. In the app
Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Delete account, and confirm.
2. Without the app
Email support@myfoodshield.com with your phone number and restaurant name. We confirm and delete within 30 days.
3. Deleted at once
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your sign-in sessions
- Your notification settings
- Your support messages
4. Kept
Records you entered for the restaurant (tasks, readings, issues, photos, documents). They belong to the restaurant and stay with it.
Your name may still appear where it was written into a record, such as a training or staff medical record.
5. If you are the restaurant’s only owner
Deleting your account deletes the whole restaurant, with all branches, team, records, photos and documents. Payment records are kept as required for accounting.
6. Backups
Deleted data is removed from backups within 30 days.
